FOUNDER

Alex Buckle

He doesn’t look old enough, but Alex has been in the travel industry for 32 years and has run his own agency and tour operator for over 20.

His passion for travel started young, growing up in South East Asia and travelling everywhere from remote Malaysian islands to hill tribes in Northern Thailand. Today, he brings that experience, curiosity and genuinely personal approach to every trip he plans.

When he’s not planning someone’s next adventure, Alex can usually be found coaching his son’s football team, clocking up the miles on Dad’s Taxi duties or staring longingly at a departures board in an airport.

Alex has been lucky enough to travel around the globe and visit all seven continents. Kenya and Antarctica have been particularly special in recent years, but his favourite destination is Greece, thanks to its beautiful clear blue seas and simple, beachside taverna dining. Favourite islands include Tinos, Crete, Skopelos and Naxos.

Nikki Hall

With 27 years’ experience in the travel industry, Nikki specialises in creating tailor-made long-haul holidays, with particular expertise in South Africa, the Indian Ocean and Asia.

Nikki loves getting to know her clients and creating holidays that are truly personal to them, because no two travellers, and no two holidays, are the same. From the initial idea to the moment they return home, she’s passionate about making sure every detail is just right.

Travel is a huge passion of her own, too. She loves exploring new destinations, experiencing different cultures and discovering what makes each place unique. If she’s not on a plane heading somewhere new and exciting, she definitely gets itchy feet. Thankfully, her wonderful two children and husband understand when she leaves them behind to explore more of this exciting world!

Nikki’s favourite destination is South Africa, thanks to its incredible diversity of city, culture, scenery and unforgettable wildlife. Next on her travel bucket list is Tanzania or Kenya. She can’t wait to experience more of the magic of Africa.

SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Aimi Bell

Aimi has worked in travel for over 20 years, although her love of it started long before it became her career. Having also worked in hotels she’s always loved the people and places that come with the industry. 

Her favourite way to travel is to really get amongst it, walk the streets, eat the food, find the best views, learn a few words of the local language and get a feel for what makes somewhere tick. 

European cities are a particular weakness, especially if there are carbs, a glass of wine and a good viewpoint involved.

That said, she’s equally happy doing very little. Give her sunshine, a beach and a snorkel and she’s sorted.

Travelling with her two boys, trips with friends and travelling for work have all given her very different ways of seeing the world. When she’s at home, life is usually a mixture of Pilates, running, gigs and finding the best gluten free places to eat.

Sri Lanka will always be one of my favourite destinations. The beaches, mountains, food and wildlife are incredible, but for me, people make places  and the people are what I remember most. It just felt warm, colourful and full of life.

Neil Maslen

Neil is our North American long-haul specialist, with over 20 years’ experience creating tailor-made adventures. The USA is his favourite destination: he’s visited countless times and explored 20 states. He has visited Walt Disney World in Orlando countless times, as well as Disney parks in Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo, and loves using that firsthand experience to make each family’s trip feel just right.

His travels have also taken him to more than 52 countries across all seven continents, including an unforgettable trip to Antarctica with Alex. Outside the US, Thailand and Italy are firm favourites, while a recent trip to Japan has sparked a new enthusiasm for creating itineraries there.

As part of a family of five, Neil knows the detail that goes into planning a great family holiday, especially for larger groups.

DIRECTOR

Emma Buckle

As a proud mum of four, Emma understands the value of creating lasting family memories through travel. Over the years, she has enjoyed a wide variety of family holidays, from sunshine escapes and ski adventures to long-haul destinations.

Having developed a love of skiing from a young age, Emma has spent many wonderful holidays exploring some of Europe’s most renowned ski resorts. The mountains remain one of her favourite places to visit, whether for family adventures or time on the slopes.

A standout travel experience was a trip to South Africa in her twenties with a close friend. The adventure, scenery and wildlife left a lasting impression and sparked a lifelong passion for discovering new destinations.

Emma’s love of travel continues to inspire both her personal and professional life, and she looks forward to exploring even more of the world.
