Hello, I’m Alex, better known as @alexb_travelguru on Instagram. With 32 years in the travel industry (and 20 running my own agency), travel isn’t just my job, it’s my life.

My passion started young, when my parents moved to South East Asia for work. From sleeping in bamboo huts on remote Malaysian islands to staying with hill tribes in Northern Thailand, I learned early that travel is about experiences, not just destinations.

After starting my career with Thomas Cook in my hometown of Peterborough, I set out to create something different, a travel service built on personal care, honest advice, and tailor-made experiences that truly fit each traveller.

Today, my team and I plan incredible getaways for clients all over the world, from family adventures and romantic escapes to business travel with style. We’re available day and night, offering a one-to-one service backed by 100% financial protection through ATOL , ABTA and the Integrity Travel Group.

When I’m not planning holidays, you’ll find me coaching my son’s football teams, running a line, umpiring a cricket match or on a Dad's Taxi run.
